For today's "Throwback Thursday" its not a picture of me. I'll use this as an opportunity to share one of my all time favorite bands "Mandrill". If you can remember back in the day such songs as "Ape is High" or "Fencewalk" you heard some great music. If you have never heard of them be sure to check out their website. MANDRIIL
What a day. I had a lot to do and forgot to schedule any posts. So, enjoy today's picture.

While working on a project this morning at Sandy Bottom Nature Park in Hampton, one of the park rangers alerted me to this. Not sure if any birds had actually nested or if their were eggs in the box.

Today's photo is a piece of donated structural steel from the World Trade Center in New York City. It's a 17 foot, 4000 pound i-beam that is hung so that it appears to be falling from the sky. The letters "FDNY" that you see means that a deceased firefighter was located at that spot in the collapsed towers. The 343 FIRE/EMS who perished will never be forgotton.
I said that I would do more night/twilight photography. This is the Hampton Coliseum just after sunset.
